Why would I want to use pigment paste instead of liquid in my Epoxy Resin? And cutting up rubber stamps to use as inlays? Really? New territory for me. Want to see how I get on? Then watch on :)

I like watching makers try things for first time and give honest content - whether it works out or not.

Those are just beautiful! As far as I know, it's a new technique! But I never know either. 🤣 I love the outcome!

I absolutely loved your energy in this video 💕 You are always a joy to watch, but tonight you were just too adorable for words. I too love the leaf/ gold/ mint/ sparkle coaster. Though adding the gold to the flower made it super pretty as well. Definitely inspiring 💕

The leaf coaster is gorgeous! The poppy looks much better after you added the gold to it, and I like that you tested that out as a way to try and fix something that didn't turn out exactly as you expected. Also, remember that you can use the coaster to make silicone inserts of those stamps! I think Wendy (or maybe Claire) showed that in one of her videos where she used the stamp as an inlay and then used the resin piece to then make a silicone inlay.

Oh, I love the leaves! That color combo was perfect. The gold on the poppy really made it pop. I will have to switch to drinking wine before doing resin. I have learned many new things with this video. 😊

Tracey, the leaf coaster is just gorgeous, and yes, I would put clear resin in the leaves, either to the brim or just enough to protect the ink used. Either UV or regular resin should be fine.

I ❤ the 3 leafed coaster, really beautiful!! I also would love to watch a tutorial on how to make a pigment paste and what the difference is between a paste to a dye. Thankyou for a fun tutorial 😊

Absolutely love when artist shares trying something new. Especially, when you share if it works or not. I was wondering if stamp in lays would work. Thank you so much for sharing... Would love to see you making pigment paste..

The coaster with the 3 leaves is so nice ! The poppy with gold is beautiful too but maybe a little to large ? Thank you for sharing !

Some crushed glass in the middle of the poppy, with clear overlay, would add dimension as well. Beautiful work.

Love them both, I would recommend filling them with clear resin as one spilt tea or coffee and they would ruined, plus the dust and dirt over time would spoil their look.

I love the pastes from resin detre supplies. Small new uk business. Helena Smith runs it mostly on her own. She does both opaque and translucent pastes only the tiniest bit needed. Usually I just dip the end of a cocktail stick in and its more than enough, And he has glitter pastes aswell. As she also still works she may shut the website down for a couple of days if she has a high volume of orders due to offers she's had on.

I love them Tracey they are so pretty. You could try brushing some highlighting ( make up kind ) lightly over the poppy to lighten it up a bit ❤❤

Maybe put some gold ink on a bit of paper towel and highlight the poppy?
It’s fun watching people do things first-time—it reminds me that we’re all learners at some point. 😊
Edit: you did the poppy; it’s so pretty!
