My thoughts are with the residents of Straddie, human and animal, and anyone else affected after cyclone Alfred hit this area on the weekend 💛My property was also hit but Grace & I are safe and sound despite very high winds and 4 days of no power (so far). The property held up amazingly well. Thankfully it was less severe than forecast and less widespread damage occurred to the area but lessons were definitely learnt.

Just wanted to add, Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words on the last video regarding the loss of Occy. I am still a little overwhelmed at just how beautiful this community's response has been and acknowledge that we have all lost a dear friend. I miss the big guy so much 💛

A significant aspect of healing is the "I should have" stage. Occy lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, love, pats, and cuddles. He will accompany you on all your future adventures, though not in physical form.

Occy lived his absolute BEST life, he greatly loved and was greatly loved. It is so hard to lose a beloved family member like Occy but we are blessed to have been loved so much by our precious souls. I believe they walk with us even though we can not see them, their spirits live on through our memories and our memories keep them close by our side.
