I’m down for a NG+ armor but honestly this shouldn’t even be drop until you can craft the full thing. It’s a good armor set but idk if it’s good enough to warrant almost an entire second playthrough. It just feels bad to stare at it.

Also for that first cart, there’s actually a little ramp on the right side of him. You can literally just jump behind him and beat him.

Side note for anyone struggling with chapter 5, you can buy a gourd that has a unique perk to give you burn immunity when you use it. Pair that with the vessel from chapter 1 and you don’t have to worry about scorch at all.

The three rooms work this way:

If you fight the fire dog thing, the door way is frozen over. When you're fighting the fire dog, it will do an explosion and if you're near the ice it will blow open the pathway. I was having a very difficult time with this boss so when I saw the door way was open I booked it, thinking there was shrine on the other side. No, no there was not, the dog followed me to the second room, but became an Ice dog and the doorway was covered in Fire. Rinse and repeat, book it through the door when the fire was gone and took it to the third room where the whole floor is magma and the dog is fire again. That's the room I ended up beating him in.

for horse guai, you need to talk to him on every chapter in order to pull out the line whatever form the cart, i miss him in chap 2, 3, 4 and i can never pull it out. no matter how many time i tried. also the bull never did relocate in my case, probably due to the missing horse guai quest

Did anyone else find the Pagoda Realm prison section kinda frustrating to get through? lol i had no issue with the bosses but the area was handing me my ass for a bit haha.. i dont even wanna return for the purple seal doors i unlocked 😂

In my playthrough, the Stalwart aided me for the fourth cart location during the fight.

What I did was attack him until he yields. Exhaust dialogue. Then go up, kill the first cart, continue forward, and teleport in the next shrine back to the previous shrine and talk to him to exhaust the dialogue again in his new location, close to the first one. Then, I move to some other zones (painted world hub) and even exited the game. By the time I reached the fourth cart (the one that is mobile), the stalwart was there helping me in the fight. Dunno if I did something else to trigger this, :(

3:40 you can remove the whip right after you finish the last carriage and speak to npc, he tells you to find the horse of the king who is Mant Tiamba .

Pro tip on the Golden-Eyed Beast, you can jump heavy attack and get on the platform you entered on where the boss can't reach you and you can poke him down with the charged thrust. Also, on the first cart you can run on the rocks, to the wall on the right, and get behind it completely. Pretty sure that second ones intended though but still free cheese.

You can bait the boss to crash into that ice wall and break it, then run through the passageway and you get a chance to heal up or pop more meds or whatever you want and when you run out into the next big arena the boss comes back and changes from fire to ice attacks.

Bishui golden eye beast has a secret path behind it. In the initial boss room, u will see an ice door, bait him to fire breath the ice door, you unlock the second boss room. On the way to 2nd boss room, the is a wine upgrade material. In 2nd boss room, u see a fire gate and boss will become ice attack. Same logic, bait boss to breath ice on fire. U unlock 3rd boss room. Finishing boss in 3rd, u got additional cutscene.

is the no stagger perk only when you have all 4 armor pieces on? can it work with chest arms and legs no helmet?

You shouldn’t have killed the lion in the fire area; you should have frozen it and moved to the ice area. In the ice area, you also should have skipped it and killed it in the final location. I don't know what this will give you, but during the fight in the fire area, I accidentally went into that hole and saw the lion jump into the ice area.

Theres a weapon called Adept Spine-shooting Fuban Staff. Its said to be possible to craft only in NG+

Would be nice to make a guide about that, if it doesnt show major spoilers ofc. I know nothing about ng+ yet, so...

To pull the whip out you need to kill the yin Yang boss. I didn’t even meet him in chapter 1 but I couldn’t get the whip until after the yin Yang boss
