Word of warning. The wasps set up camp around that sprinkler near the bird bath so don't put a zipline up there unless you will always have the bards hat with you to make them passive.

Mom genes now massively increases poison/venom damage as well as spawning little blue Spiderlings to fight for you, making it an excellent pairing for brood mother armor and it’s club

Before the normal broodmother was buffed I used to use that trinket which if you perfect blocked you would get some good health back and with that I never used any smoothie or healing again fighting broodmother cause her attack pattern was so easy . Despite them buffing her it's still easy to 100% parry her so I recommend trying this method if you can parry her

Btw dissection expert gives you a lot more parts even in bosses, me and my friends got like double mantis parts when we had it equipped so it should work for other bosses like the infected broodmother 👍

Honestly, Poison Nova is only worth it if you get swarmed by small Enemys. Which really only happens at the Broodmother herself or the Termite Hill.
Otherwise i think, increasing the Damage per Tick is better than another Dot.
If you use the Widowdagger one Piece for Sleek Venom Coating is enough, no Point in having 3.
What is really nice though, is that you´re not restricted to the Mask, you can have Poison Coating AND wear a different Helmet.

Try fully upgrading the club and use apex predator. Apex predator does apply venom but you're so used to the widow dagger that you didn't notice it. Technically the best poison build is bm club with apex predator, at least 1 piece of bm armour and widow armour, widow dagger, larva blade, spider fang dagger and both venom arrows and you will just watch as the enemy's health crumbles to dust.
Edit: also use assassin and barbarian for extra club damage and dagger bleed.

i hope cade realizes the best boss to test his stuff on is the broodmother or wasp queen due to the mantis being able to defeat the wasp queen however looses to the infected brood mother
