He works as the top consultant for Wangsheng and just happens to constantly forget to bring his wallet since he never needed to spend money to begin with. Dude may spend a huge amount when he goes out and builds a tab when he forgets his wallet, but he isn't actually poor.

Fun fact: For the commission where you need to get Mona's rent, if you manage to go to all the places to find her, you can actually see her the next time you go to collect her rent.

It's quite well known by now, actually. In the summer event, we learned that she ain't broke at all. Fischl was like "wait... you're not broke?! Heck, I even treated you to meals at my home...! It should have been the reverse!" XD

Mona herself even says that she only runs out of Mora some of the time, but never said that she was a pauper. It caused Fischl to become so mad that she actually broke character!

The commission continues as we found mona days later in her front door. The reason she is out might be a spoiler but one thing is sure that mona is paying the rent and still enjoy statisfying salad 😅

For Mona, the reason she is 'poor' is she normally has bad spending habits, spending so much on her astrology stuff and leaving essentially what would be the minim7m necessary to survive. And with that vacation jar, that would be character development for her in that she's learning to better manage her money
