If I had discovered bbc learning English earlier, I would have learnt so much English.

If I had studied a long time ago, I would have become a counsellor, therapist, or psychologist by now.
I hope I’m using the third conditional correctly. Thanks. 😁❤️

Yes I agree, it can be difficult and it isn't straightforward....
There are several points/rules to consider when using all conditionals.
In essence we use conditionals to express a centain 'condition' then, depending on the type of 'condition' we have a result in the present, past or future....also, we need to be familiar
with the basic structure of each conditional - As you said, we use the 3rd conditional to talk about hypothetical, unreal situations which didn't happen or regrets in the past.
We also need to learn the form - unfortunately, to be able to form the 3rd conditional we must know the past participle of the verbs!
Conditionals have two clauses:
An if clause - the condition
and a main clause - the result.
The third conditional form:
If + past perfect - would + have + past participle of the verb
If I hadn't studied the third conditional
( but I did) I wouldn't have been able to write this post confidently.

Vitória, as a portuguese speaking like you, I say it is one of the few things that are easier when we translate word by word. Try it.

If I had studied English harder, I could have enjoyed traveling abroad. 😶
Exactly, the third conditional is difficult for me as well.

If I'd moved to London a few years earlier, I would've spoken English fluently. But, unfortunately I didn't.
