Alvarez doesn't want to play second fiddle to Haaland....simple as that.

Good on Julian Alvarez to want to leave. He’s young and can challenge himself to be the main man of the team. Can’t be mad at him for wanting to be his best self.

Alvarez took one of the most important decisions in his life. He will shine in Atleti.

Ones of the reasons City has been successful is that they don’t really force anyone to play for the club. At any point where a player has been unhappy, they’ve let them go. That’s why it works!

Great challenge for Alvarez, the kid is hungry to play football, he made the right desition, now all depends in him and the team. Just mad hope they dont have a weak defense.

I agree with Pep
You want volunteers, not hostages in your football club

Alvarez deserves to be in a team of his own, he has high versatility, Atletico might even surprise us and winning the league🤯let’s see🔥Sorloth, Griezmann, Alvarez, Felix, Gallagher, De Paul🎉

clear as day, Pep did not want Alvarez gone. Probably one of the first times this happens to him.

I’m pretty sure Pep was counting on Alvarez. Yes, they can go and get another player who “can be happy to just play for Pep and play behind Haaland, ” but it has to the right player. Alvarez was that “right player” and players like him don’t come around so often if not go and ask Chelsea 😂

Respect for Pep for calling it like it is and never holding a player hostage if they are unhappy (*coughs* Jadon Sancho)

MC is going to miss Alvarez, Haaland is good, but he needs a lot of help, I personally like Alvarez more than Halland as a player!

At Barca, Pep wanted Ronaldinho and Deco gone. He also wanted Eto'o gone. He let Yaya Toure leave.
Frank wrong about it being easy to let them go because he can easily replace them.

Lol the French guy clearly hating cause Alvarez is argentine "they will find someone much better" lol I dont think so, Julian was that perfect piece to be either Haaland or DrBruynes replacement and at the same time an animal when pressing defenders on attack, players like that dont come so easily.

Álvarez will grow tremendously he has achieved so much so young

Those achievements open doors which leads to play time which leads to show casing your skills

Smart young man I bet he was dreading this moment all season to break the ice.

Good for him wish him the best

I loved Alvarez when he was on City, and I was always happy we had him on the team and he was a really good teammate even though he wasn't starting. But I always knew he was good enough to be the guy somewhere else so I'm really happy to see him get that opportunity.

Pep is not worried and never has been. Not about players leaving, not about what other teams are doing, not about anything. He knows when he wakes up everyday and looks in the mirror, the best football mind on the planet is looking back at him

When City allowed Alvarez to play in Olympics after copa America the writing was on the wall

No one mentioning that he was living in Manchester and he's now gonna be living in Madrid. Massive, massive factor. Football players are human beings too

For a long time, Frank this time was absolutely spot on! $85m is such a win for City and the position there in given their status.
