Our 2024 Food for Thought lunchtime lecture series continued on Thursday, September 19, as Michael Innis-Jimenez will present Mexican Culture and Cuisine in Alabama History.

Dr. Innis-Jiménez will discuss the history of Mexican food in Alabama and the American South. His lecture will also focus on the role of Mexican-influenced dishes and restaurants as cultural and culinary ambassadors for contemporary Mexican society.

The presentation will be held in the ADAH's Joseph M. Farley Alabama Power Auditorium and online on Facebook and YouTube. Admission is FREE.
