Such a good movie! And so much better than the American version: it really captures the sick, torbid atmosphere the story calls for!

Wonderful film. I downloaded this version on iTunes. I love the later Hollywood, Ingrid Bergman one to, but this one has an edge to it. You can really believe that Diana Wynyard feels she going mad. You can feel a real sense of danger. And as for her husband Ooo, what a nasty piece of work.

"Ehww, speak to me. Hit me. Huht me." I wish descriptions of this movie did not give away what's really going on because it is supposed to be a slowly revealed secret in the play.
