One of the best movies ever made and two of the greatest actors in Denzel and Morgan to ever grace the screen!

Very rarely does a historical film have such a character driven plot. "Glory" is such a fantastic movie.

I don’t think I was ever so awake or aware of life until I saw the last half of this movie on UPN channel around 1994. No more than 8 or 9 but after watching this I never stopped asking why and finding out through history . Even as a Mexican American I was able to see the position of the underdog fully after this film . Respect for all the people of America that had to wade through prejudice to carve out a living … and without wanting sympathy… because you know you wouldn’t get it . All the glory to god for this film

Everytime I watch this movie I always see Denzel as the comic relief but the more you watch the movie and further get into his character you see he is a real person who had a troubling upbringing who is trying to redeem himself, this is one of the movies that made me wanna be an actor before I jumped ship to be a filmmaker

Dependability fits not only the characters but also Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington. Those 2 can be depended on to always deliver what the character calls for.

Very interesting and contrasting black and white photographic image of two Actors quite some decades before today. Of two Actors whom everyone in this Universe would recognize. In the gravity coordinates of our Planet we are being dependent on everything and everybody. And many of us do dependent mentally on the characters created by these two Actors 🙃🌳🌴🌲🍍

The recollecting reflecting introspection / reflexive introversion and pensiveness over the roles, over ensuing aura of those artistic transfigurations. That the underdogs can win out, if sticking to it. Like Denzel Washington in "American gangster"... And very healthy, athletic looks in other roles... Or the casual, unhurried, world contemplating aura of Morgan Freeman roles, also when Mr. Freeman impersonates ingenuous, unique villians... Be persistent, but not thoughtless, don't be inconsiderately heady rushy...
Stick to it to the utmost ultimate end and You would achieve inner freedom. If anything, and loosing is better as the free person. Fight till you drop, but if possible, try to avoid conflict... If anything dying as the free person is better, than as the serf or the slave... But it is even better to live... These two Actors?.. Yes, I think so.
