The one thing I do love about Rocky. He didn't win every fight, he actually lost he won respect now wins, that's what made it different made people realize you didn't have to win just always get back up

1:20. Rocky didn’t tell Mick about the loss. He lied so that Mick would die thinking he was still the champ. I think that’s a rather important detail.

The first fight between Rocky and Apollo was a split decision win for Apollo. It wasn't a draw.

In Rocky III, Rocky didn't tell Mickey he lost. He implied to Mickey he won in two rounds and Mickey said "i did everything right" and died in peace.

In Creed, I don't think Rocky told Adonis not to use the Creed name. Adonis was the one who wanted to avoid it because he didn't want to be compared or defined by his father.
