Another great review Zane. I've used this plugin for a while now. It is the best free one that I could find. That being said it doesn't give the electric bass sound that I want. I'm looking for a deeper, fuller sound that can drive a song. You mentioned that you use a "paid for plugin", may I ask which one? Thanks for the work that you do.

I can't get to grips with this blooming music making software at all. Cakewalk just won't install itself onto my system no matter what I do and none of the other free DAWS seem to have any instruments in them. I know that you guys keep telling us to install virtual instruments but those things are worse than the flaming DAWS. They all come in messy zip files which contain nothing whatsoever.

I want to compose a little bit of music and do some singing for a video I'm currently making. I don't need to work on the music yet but I will soon. I'll come back to this at some point and give it another bash.
