Eternal Love: Recognizing Your Soulmate Beyond Time and Space

i would not have you without the darkness that hides within you
i will not let you have me without the madness that makes me
if our demons cannot dance
neither can we
I would recognize you in total darkness
Where you mute and I deaf
I would recognize you in another lifetime entirely
In different bodies
Different times
And I would love you in all of this
Until the very last star in the sky
Burnt out into oblivion
Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness
It took me years to understand that this too

Like a TIGER'S roar in the wild, full of LIFE and FIRE,
Your KINDNESS and truth, your LIGHT and desire,
From that RAINY dawn, on my BIRTHDAY’S light,
I saw in you ALL that felt so RIGHT.
When I RAN to you, in that FIRST embrace,
I found WARMTH and safety, a PEACEFUL place.
Now sadness wraps me when I depart,
For LEAVING you BREAKS my HEART.
Meeting you was like finding HOME,
After a journey LONG, COLD, and ALONE.
You are the fire that crackles bright,
The rug, the couch, the blanket tight,
With soft Italian music that plays,
And your BLUE-GREEN EYES that HOLD my GAZE.
Your SMILE lights the DARK within,
When your eyes meet mine, soft yet intense.
FIVE WEEKS apart is the most I can BEAR,
For wherever I go, you’re always feel NEAR
I wonder still if you felt it TOO,
That morning when my WORLD found YOU.
And every day I wonder if you SEE,
The THOUGHTS of you that live in ME.
As I write these words, tears start to FALL,
For the weight of these feelings holds me in THRALL,
And I long to escape, to find some PEACE,
Yet my HEART won’t let this love RELEASE.

A moment shared, a lifetime too,

When love fades out, not by our choice,
The ground beneath us voids its voice.
We question why, we seek to find,
The reasons lost, now intertwined.

In sorrow's grasp, where many fall,
Men scramble, desperate, heed the call.
Rejection stirs obsession's flame,
They chase a love, now lost in name.

They cling to dreams of what might be,
Blind to the truth they fail to see.
A love once lost, now glorified,
In memories, their hearts abide.

They forget the flaws, the pain they knew,
And hold on tight to shadows' hue.
They settle for the scraps of past,
Ignoring dreams that could outlast.

But not all bonds are meant to stay,
Some teach, some lead, then drift away.
The ones that last, they weather storms,
In trials' fire, their love transforms.

So cherish both, the brief and long,
Each holds a lesson, each a song.
Reflect on what each heart imparts,
For love’s true wisdom lies in hearts.
