I experienced this recently with someone I began dating. Our first couple dates were phenomenal and then he started to pull away and gave me the "my life is too hectic right now" line. I genuinely believed he was busy and I did do the whole-find a life and do other things routine. But at the same time, if you're really that busy, why are you trying to date? And if you saw a future in our relationship, you would find the time. He obviously wasn't the right one. Let's not make a big to-do about it. Be honest and not waste each other's time. Move on!

In my experience if he likes you, he will pursue you. Going out and running into him at events, or pretending to be occupied won't make a guy like you. we can't control how people react, all you have to do is be yourself, apologetically. No need for games, if he likes you he does, if he doesn't move on, someone else will appreciate your time.

This is so damn accurate. I was always available for this guy even though I am a full-time student and have a full-time job. He knew I was always around. The time I realized I was paying too much attention to him, I focused more on myself and valued myself more. I would still respond to his texts/calls but not as much as I used to. Now, he's the one chasing me.

Well this slap me hard on the cheek. My ex was basically saying he was "too busy" playing video games. -.- then called me when he was about to pass out. I obviously tried talking to him about, but he never changed...so I did and dumped him. Now his life turned to shit and mine went uphill.
