Was there in the pit courtesy of my wife! Was her first Metal show, so she had no idea what to expect. She loved it. Fucking amazing show. I should've read a bit more because I was literally shocked when I heard Prince of Darkness start way earlier than anticipated. In what fucking universe does Megadeth play before Five Finger Meme Punch? We didn't even stay for intermission between bands. We got what we wanted.

Dirk is a beast. He fits Megadeth so well, it reminds me of Gar. I love Nick, but Gar was more dynamic, like a jazz fusion drummer. And Dirk is in that vein which fits the manic riffs from Mustaine. Most drummers that come into Megadeth mimic other drummers. Dirk has created something unique on the new album.
