MFA Community Celebration: Latinx Heritage Night

This year, we’re taking our second annual Latinx Heritage Night online to recognize and honor the enduring cultural contributions of the Latinx Community to the U.S. Hosted in partnership with Amplify Latinx, this free virtual event includes a spoken word performance, music, a Spotlight Talk, an artist talk and more—all in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month!
“Latinx” is a gender-neutral term used in lieu of “Latino” or “Latina” to refer to a person of Latin American descent. The MFA and our community celebration partner, Amplify Latinx, have used this term in an effort to be more inclusive of Gen X and Z, and the LGBTQ community. During Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond, we continue to embrace the diversity of cultures and generations within the Latin American community.
Latinx Heritage Night is sponsored by Chase.
