The Challenge:
Procter & Gamble challenged NGL Media to grow its popular Orgullosa platform by celebrating today’s ‘Nueva Latina’ through cutting edge video content.
The Solution:
Procter & Gamble challenged NGL Media to grow its popular Orgullosa social online community by celebrating the pride and uniqueness of Latinas through cutting edge video content. We worked closely with LiquidThread NY and Tapestry, divisions of the Starcom MediaVest Group, to immerse ourselves in the P&G Orgullosa platform.
Based on the insight that bicultural Latinas have a dual heritage and often look for role models that share their aspirations, Orgullosa had a terrific opportunity to lead the “Nueva Latina” social movement through a multi-touch-point program spanning Digital, Social, Print and Events.
Anchoring the program was the ‘Nueva Latina Series,’ a docu-style Digital series featuring inspirational Latinas from different walks of life with incredible stories to tell. Nine ‘Nueva Latinas’ who are redefining what it means to be a Latina today while giving back to the Hispanic community were selected. Each story featured moments of ‘surprise & delight’ from unexpected encounters to special messages from those touched by our Nueva Latinas’ work and commitment to their heritage. The program featured the following Paid, Owned and Earned Media elements.
