Cupra mid-size SUV with space and pace (Cupra Terramar VZ 2025 review)
Показать описание
Featuring the heart of the new VW Golf GTI 8.5, Cupra's brand-new Terramar medium SUV neatly fills the gap between the Ateca and Formentor below it, and the flagship Tavascan EV above it.
Set to be offered in Australia with at least three drivetrains, including a plug-in hybrid, the enthusiast-focused version is the Terramar VZ 4Drive, featuring a 195kW 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four harnessed by AWD and a sophisticated suspension set-up. Among an unashamedly athletic line-up, it's clearly the hot-hatch on stilts that Cupra wants it to be, combined with a suitably luxe interior and a subtly muscular exterior, for a not-so-ridiculous price.
Chasing Cars' Daniel Gardner officially hijacked a drive with this new Spanish flyer, and came away loving its understated styling, its surprisingly premium interior, and its joyful dynamics.
