TF-1 Megatron vs Shockwave | Who is Stronger? | Bayverse

Both 2007 Megatron and Shockwave are some of the STRONGEST characters in the Bayverse. They both strike deep fear into their opponents. But this begs the question, who is the stronger character? Well, in this short, I will explain who is stronger...

I realized after I made this that I used the wrong online bios. There are 2 -

Now nothing changes here, both of them state that Shockwave can rival (2007) Megaton. And the other Wiki is probably still accurate in some things, as it sources some of its material from "TFWiki". Like Shockwave is classified as an Assassin and also a Scientist in “Transformers Film Series Fan Wiki” since he was an Assassin in the DOTM game.

And Shockwave was also an Assassin in TF3, as he was the one who was sent to hunt down the Autobots (or at least lead the hunt).

Now generally, I don't really like to turn to outside sources, but since we know like nothing about Shockwave, we kind of have to turn to outside sources.

And both of these characters (Shockwave and 2007 Megatron) are still *incredibly* powerful. They are both probably part of the top 3 strongest characters list. Megatron just edges Shockwave out with his Battlefield experience.

Megatron could also be quicker and more agile than Shockwave, but we never really saw what Shockwave was capable of agility and speed-wise. So it is very hard to compare them in terms of those 2 categories.

Given Shockwave's status, he's definitely the "I work alone" guy. And this is in the film as he left the driller to hunt the autobots on his own. So Megatron being better because of his battle field experience makes complete sense.

They did him SO DIRTY in DOM. Shockwave was menacing but he literally just got picked apart by a squad of humans and then Optimus came and ripped his spine out

I would like to see Megatron and Shockwave going head to head. This almost feels like both could win in a draw, except that Megatron is a warlord, which means a villain like him is a powerhouse. I have no doubt Shockwave can stand a chance against the Decepticon leader, and I’d like to see how cunning that assassin is.

Shockwave an assassin hunter. During the war megatron took the pleasure of hunting for sport while leading his army to war. Not to mention both got jumped by the military only difference is megatron didn't care only trying to get Sam were shockwave got badly damaged during the snake attack.

In rotf Megatron actually orders around the decepticons. In dotm Shockwave just starts shooting without giving orders. This shows how Megatron is better on a battle field and how efficient Shockwave is. But if we look them as individuals either one can win

Now if the two were to actually fight to the death, 07 vs Shockwave. I would say Megatron wins with extreme difficulty as he is slightly weaker in the tankiness and physical strength field. But has a massive edge with how fast he is, he can fly, and is relatively acrobatic for his size. Another thing to point out is that Megatron has two eyes. Although relatively close to one another, half of his face could be blown off and still be able to react and fight without relying too much on nothing but sound unlike Shockwave.

Let’s not forget that the only reason why Megatron was weak in ROF and DOM was because his body was weak, disfigured, and injured and his 2007 body was his prime body and when he was in the battlefield, it took the AllSpark itself to kill him
