I have been trying to teach my boston terrier shake her paw for two months no way, my dog just looked at me. I watch this video, my dog was giving me her paw in one day. I was so shock. I have learned so much watch McCann dogs. Things I use everyday with my dog, like using the house line, which is a very practical application, that is worth knowing.

Amazing tricks! Thank you for sharing the process with us. I have a question concerning the touch the paw when the dog already knows stay command with the hand standing in front? Should I just use my fist as a fist/paw pump instead? I don’t want to confuse my dog with the high-five/stay hand signal…any suggestions?

Awww.. thanks sooo.. much.. cuz I was worry about how to training my puppy 3 month... shitzu cuz I'm in wheelchair and it so difficult for me sit in the floor... but I'm trying to training her with a lot of patience... I can't stand up long time....
I need to learn how can I get her attention a lot... for command... I start with food... If I repeat her like 10 time the same thing.. like she laydown and I have to change it.. or rest of... I hope I'm doing good.... is not easy for me.. but I'm trying... thanks

I wish you would show this with a dog that has never learned how to shake a paw at all. This dog already knows this and that makes it a lot easier to teach to shake the other paw. My dog won't lift his paw off the floor no matter how I hold the treat above his head. If it's too low, he lies down and gives up when the treat is not released. If it's too high, he jumps up and almost bites my fingers off. I'm at over a dozen treats with no progress. My previous dog I was able to teach this very easily.
