Exposing How I Make Money To Travel (12 Travel Jobs In 4+ Years)

How do you make money to travel? If you're looking for travel tips and travel job ideas, you're in the right place. We have been nomadic for the past four years and we have worked a series of temporary jobs, seasonal jobs, and other travel jobs to fund a life full of adventure and exploration. If you want to quit your job and travel the world but you have no money, trust us - we were in the same boat. We have worked full time to fund our full time travel by working overseas, working abroad and working remotely from our home country. Since 2018, we have moved to Cambodia, did a Working Holiday Visa in Australia and converted an ambulance into a full-time off-grid tiny home on wheels, where we live the full time #vanlife and this is how we've funded it along the way. So if you're wondering how to afford travel - welcome!

➤ ABOUT US: Hi! We’re Nick & Raychel, the couple behind the blog Not Luxe - where we write travel guides & help people open their eyes to alternative living, whether that be teaching English online, moving to Cambodia, taking advantage of working holiday visas (like in Australia) or building a DIY stealthy camper van to live & work on the road. Right now, we’re living the van life and travelling throughout Canada and the USA.

Our goal here is to bring you weekly content where we hope to inspire you to break free & live the life you desire. On Wednesdays, we talk everything from finances to minimalism to working online to mindset and on Saturdays, we post a weekly vlog of our daily lives. We hope you join us on our journey to see the world, save money, live minimally, and most importantly, have fun.

Love,
That couple that lives in an ambulance

I like this, out of the dozens of videos I've watched on this it's the first real nomadic work situation. All other videos are people asking tons of money with skulls they already had from big biz or are huge social media people. I want real world normal people working different places to travel

Do you have a video more on the mental shift you had from 9-5 job to traveling? What were some ideas or thoughts you had throughout the experience? How did your attitude change? Was there any beliefs you had to adopt or let go when experiencing so much change?

<Listen!!. Exploring new countries is such a rewarding experience! For first-time travelers, I'd recommend considering destinations that offer a mix of cultural richness and natural beauty. Personally, I've been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries thanks to careful budgeting and smart investments.I wasnt financial free until my 30’s and I’m still in my 30’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 2 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future..

ok so.. I am also a Film graduate. I don't have experience working on sets but I worked as a Production MGR for a year at a mid level concert venue and I've been looking for remote work to no avail. How did you do it? I think the remote admin production stuff would suit me and my experience but I just have not had luck landing anything.

Such an interesting video! It’s great to hear from people travelling and still doing in-person jobs, I feel like so many people just say “start working online/find a remote job”, but I prefer the idea of working in person and being around other people, plus doing a job you can just leave once you’ve saved up, so this was very helpful!! What’s the process like for finding office temp work through agencies? I’m planning to do this in Australia (most likely Sydney or Perth) and have office experience so think it could be a good option but haven’t used an agency before
