Update: got the machine, the very first update I notice was that they did away with the twist lock cables, instead they went with the traditional setup of a 230 volt plug to a 120 volt connector. To me, great improvement. My first impression that is a way better machine than the 210 MP. It's a little bigger than the 210, therefore, the 210 cover does not fit. Those extra two handles makes it easier to move around. I use .030 wire most the time, it does not have any recommendations or settings for .030 flux core wire which I was expecting to see in this machine, however, that is not a deal breaker. Hope they come up with a cover that fits this machine soon.

After a year i REALLY like mine. Two suggestions : one for the Power Mig 215 do the SMAW settings for this machine default to DC - ? The way polarity is selected is really kind of annoying..Its like playing .like a video game.. just make it a + or - off / on switch...This next applies to ALL multiprocess machines.. I really really like have all processes in one place but i still have to take my Mig gun set up apart to run a spool gun..Why not Install a separate 4 pin connector and gas solenoid for spool gun..now its all there

Can you select between the two gas inputs? I purchased the 215 with the spool gun and I am still learning how to use it. I set up C25 to the mig port and argon to the other (tig port). However when in the spool gun/aluminum settings the C25 gas came out. Since it already has the second gas port It would be nice not to have to physically move the gas lines.

Does this machine do lift arc TIG, or is it scratch start only?

Well I decided to go with the more proven MillerMattic 211 after a long time researching but once I got ready to buy the rebate went away. But now the $400 rebate on the mpi 215 is active.

To people who have it, how is that fan in person? Seems really loud in the video

Hello,
Were you able to run E6011 if it can’t do E6010?

What is better the Lincoln 215 mpi or the Miller 220?

I wish it was sold worldwide, or at least ships overseas. I'm currently in the middle east, and couldn't find it anywhere.
