Bass Communion - The Itself of Itself (Clip)

Earlier this year the first new album for 12 years of my Bass Communion project The Itself of Itself was released in a limited CD edition on the Lumberton Trading Company label, selling out almost immediately. Now for vinyl fans a one-off 2LP vinyl pressing will be issued on 13th December in an edition of 1,000 copies only. This deluxe edition will mirror the CD edition exactly, housed in a gatefold sleeve with 24 page booklet and OBI strip.

To celebrate this new edition - and timed perfectly for Halloween 🎃 a suitably dark and disturbing video of the title track is available to view.

The video was directed by my friend Mike Bennion. With Bass Communion being decidedly niche there was no video budget as such, so while all the ideas and editing were Mike’s, the images themselves were generated by Artificial Intelligence under his creative vision.
