Started in New Haven, Connecticut back in 1938, Sally’s Apizza quickly became known for its fresh, thin, coal-fired pizza, and nearly 100 years later, they’re finally bringing their signature eats to Massachusetts, with a new location in Woburn.

As a child my mom used to drag me to the North End and we would get slush and cold cut sandwiches, she would go into butcher shops and pick out a chicken and it was live. I will leave out the rest, but the original Regina's pizza was much like this. Big bubbles of air in the dough burnt black and the crust was thin and crispy, and a fountain of olive oil. This is the most delicious way to make a pizza. I am going to this place to eat real good pizza the way that is the best.

The menu offerings actually look very good. But try their pizza first. As a NH area resident, I've been to the OG Sallys, and it's the best pizza on earth, of all time.

I'm sure people are asking Portnoy to visit --- based on the look of the pizza I will predict easily in the 8's. The rest of the food shown looks fantastic too!
