I’m in the UK and recently left my job. I had two days holiday pay for my birthday before my notice of leave period meaning I was still a contracted employee. I still had a third day unused which I’m unbothered about however I had my pay today and been missed out of £120 and unsure what to do as I raised the issue before and nothing ever happened and never got last time sorted after months of telling them

I was in an accident was pff for 6 months. I was covered by disability & also covered fmla job protection. But my employer forced ALL my sick days and vacation days one i returned to work ? Is this legal? I feel like they just forced it upon me !!
Please help.

What is an employee is still with the company but is unable to take off their vacation days during the year because they were way too busy working to take any time off. We were planning on cashing in my husband's unused vacation hours in addition to his regular pay and having extra money for Christmas presents for the kids but now they're saying that my husband either has to use the hours and stay away from work or just lose them my husband can't even take days off of work because they have so many big projects going on that he is unable to take that time

I am waiting on the results of my physical for my new job to come through which is the final pre-employment step. Then I will be able to give my resignation notice.

I have a question though!

I have 8 days of PTO accrued. With new California law, it’s “use it or lose it” so there is no payout.

I would love to do put in a 3 week notice. 2 weeks of work & 1 week of paid leave as a buffer time between jobs.

How do you recommend I approach this??

Also. I’d like to know if my work place can make me come in on my days off. My job only gives a 12hour notice for the following weeks schedule. For example. The schedule comes out Monday for Tues-the following Monday. The schedule come out and I’m off on a Wednesday. Then on Tuesday the GM says I need to come in Wednesday for a meeting. Can they make me come? I’m getting fed up with this and I know it’s gotten worse simply because I usually just comply. Thank you for your time.

Yes, I live in Kentucky and I was recently terminated from my job and I have vacation time coming a weeks vacation and four days PTO I don’t think they have to pay me for my PTO but from what I understand they do have to pay me for my vacation time is that right?

Another question we work 10 hrs monday tru Thursday lets say i want to take vaction on friday but employer asking to take vac time on friday is that even legal even after i work my 40 hrs?

Accruing vacation time versus being given vacation in the beginning.
I have to accrue PTO time through the year. Something like .33 hours per pay period that's ever two weeks. But at the end of the year, you can only take one week into the next year. They also keep changing what a calendar year is. In January, I was told that my calendar year was my anniversary date. Now that I have reached my anniversary date, they are telling me they changed it to January 1st for everyone. And this is unfair. It takes all year to accrue it, but you can only keep one week of it for the next year. So you're always in the negative on vacation because you are always taking time off that you have not earned.
I need to speak with someone.

What about unused vacation time law June 2021 (in colorado) that accrued unused vacation time must be allowed to carry into the new year. Can a company loophole out of that by stating "it will be pushed into the next year but you can only used the same amount given per year/earned time". Meaning that you don't get any additional time if you have unused vacation time. Can they limit the amount of vacation time per year which would loophole that law useless.

My employer Defense Commissary Agency Broke there contract that was supposed to last a year at the 6 month mark. I’m not sure what Hawaii’s laws are for suing an employer for unpaid unused leave.
I want to sue them for also with holding my pay from me.

I worked two or three jobs with a salary and accrued vacation days which were mine to take during employment. I recorded my day's honestly I took when I had the days. I never took time off without the clearance of my manager or direct report. Some of my coworkers did not record theirs honestly and hot rewarded for it based on political affiliation or fraternity or sorority affiliations. I was unaffiliated and it was held against me illegally at these places Uab Von Braun center and Randstad Huntsville and Birmingham. I was pointed by these places but others were not.

What if you’re not terminated? Do they still owe you vacation pay or is it use it or loose it? At the end of the year?

Any help my employers at Illinois didn’t pay me I called and taxed he was blocked me and I was on the road 12 weeks and I got couple days off he didn’t pay me my last paycheck

They told me I got fired cuz my points went over 8 but it went over 8 cuz they gave me a point for an approved day off and the supervisor said I could come back and I did but hr said I was fired before I got that accidental point but the supervisor fired me for it yet I still got denied lol
