I’ve owned 3 m3s E36, E46, and F80. I agree with Mr. Harris. This ones indeed the best one I have ever owned.

I've had plenty of seat time in e36, e46 and e92 M3s. I now own an F80. I have a ton of love for the e46 platform but have to disagree with many of you on the e92. It sounds incredible but the chassis sucks compared to the lightness and rigidity of the F80 not to mention the endless torque.

I absolutely loved both of my F80s.  I miss them even as I drive around in my M6 Gran Coupe.  I hope the next M3 is fun to drive but sounds a bit better than the F80s.
