Some bloke bought a used baby blue M3 demo car, having thought it was driven by the manager. The car started making some weird clunks and noises very short after he bought it. Whilst he was watching a re-run of this particular episode, he saw that the BMW Jeremy was trashing round the track had the exact number plates as his BMW, which has quite a lot reliabilty problems. So he blamed Clarkson for breaking the car and the dealer for selling it to him.

Some guy bought that exact BMW M3 from a dealer not knowing it was featured on Top Gear. Apparently couple days into owning the M3 there were signs of various problems. One day the owner and his girlfriend were watching this exact Top Gear episode when his girlfriend realised the number plate on the M3 on the show matched the one he owns. Straight away he called the dealer of where he bought the M3 from and they said that the vehicle wasn't meant to be sold due to being trashed on Top Gear and being classed as a unsuitable vehicle to drive.

Jeremy was what made Top Gear what it was. Chris Harris is truly a lovable character and great reviewer indeed. Top Gear won't be the same never again.
Though it shouldn't be since it's not. I think that Chris is the best car enthusiast out there!

I've driven the M4 Coupé and the i8. Both are awesome cars.
I'd pick the M4 though. It has just so much more character.

You know what's funny? The M3 he used was brought by a guy that complained of mechanical issues then he saw his car on top gear...yeah not good.

apparently some guy actually bought that exact M3 and didn't know it had been whupped around a track, the suspension was all messed up and he started complaining.

tbh In that situation I'd put the car up on a pedestal and charge 5 dollars to sit in it; it's been driven by blessed hands.

Funny story, a man actually had that same exact M3 press car sold to him.
