I had a duck who's leg i accidentally broke while trying to pick up and I made him a cast to set his leg properly and the first couple of weeks we thought he wasn't gonna make it, i felt absolutely terrible and i would sit out there with him for days on end, making sure he was feed and hydrated, and after about a month i went out to open they're pen and i noticed him running with the other ducks the cast being the only thing that seemed to annoy him cuz he was niping at it, and so i waited a few more days before deciding to take it off, but when i had gone out there the next morning he managed to take it off himself, mind you it was made from a good few layers of toilet tubes and duct tape but he managed to tear it off and slip his leg through it, and lo and behold when I walked out there he was running towards me both feet on the ground, and I'll be honest I started to cry a little, still had a small limp afterwards, but as the months went by he seemed to have recovered perfectly.❤

!!!! I raised ducks. When they couldnt get to water (growing up), some of them, their legs got weaker & weaker til they couldnt walk. Once I got them to a lake, they rapidly got use of legs back!! I dont know Waddles situation, but good chance getting in water will be very helpful!
