You probably don’t remember me but I reached out to you about 6 months ago regarding cybersecurity at WGU with no IT experience. I was able to complete 20 classes in 5 months that are being transferred in and have 14 classes left to graduate. I start WGU on 12/1. I really appreciate you even responding to my first comment and just wanted to give you an update because I don’t know I would’ve been able to do it without the guidance of your videos. Thank you so much!

I start with WGU in the cohort starting in December. I got the army paying for my school but I wanted to say I love your vids as you've had a huge influence on my life. God bless, brother!

This is amazing information, is there any way you could do another video, or provide a spreadsheet similar to the one you provided but for people that are looking at WGU to obtain a Master's degree?

Thanks for posting all of these, they are super helpful. I have a question that I feel like would be best answered by a professional such as yourself in the field.

Context: I have a BA in History, have worked as a high school Econ teacher for 5 years. By the end of this school year I will have 1 year of experience as a "technology rep" (my duties include onboarding fellow staff onto new EdTech platforms, I troubleshoot hardware issues and fix it myself if not I send it off to our IT team, I have lead trainings, and have created YouTube videos to help my staff).

My plan is to do the Google IT Cert to deep my feet in and see how I like it. If I do I want to go for CompTIA A+. From there I am unsure if I should apply for jobs (I want to transition into IT), or if I should go the WGU route and perhaps go for a Bachelors + Masters combo? Also wondering if maybe another route could be skip the bachelors and go for the masters (but if I go that route I am worried that I won't have the foundational knowledge). Sorry for the long question, it's probably a bit to unpack, but I've had my fill of being a teacher and want to transition to a more rewarding career.

Why you aren’t on the board of WGU as a brand ambassador, is a serious mystery.

But how much does WGU cost?

This is my standard answer for anything since 1994.

Hey I was wondering if the WGU degree is viewed as a bachelors degree. I have my associates degree and was wondering if I’d have to take less courses at WGU because of that?
