The JACQUES VALLEE Question

Walter discusses the legendary UFO investigator's legacy contribution to the study of the phenomenon. Why did he leave the field and then return? Did Vallee make someone uncomfortable?

Jacques Vallee has always been my gold standard for UFO info. I have been researching this subject since 1987.

Thanks Walter. I read Magonia and Anatomy in the early 70's while still at school - I got both these books out the local library (UK).. amazing to think.. currently local libraries are being closed down here.. it's tragic, the dumbing down going on over the years.. and the increase in zombie-aliens walking around following their little slab-like devices, blind leading the blind... those books always meant complete sense to me, always borne Vallee's wisdom in mind since then.... (just re-read this.. whoops, I'm aware of the irony as to 'devices' what with JV's Silicon Valley/AI work!)

Walter, I agree with you on this. The whole topic has been so manipulated and distorted it's hard to form a solid viewpoint. Only a belief. I personally think it has a purely mental component with no physical manifestation involved. Also there is a connection between MK Ultra and Ufology. There is a drive to hide something very BIG but the threads are woven into a cloak of invisibility.😮

I think you're missing something important: according to Bernardo Kastrup, Vallee now believes it's 50/50 - 50% high strangeness, which requires what I call his Magonia hypothesis - and 50% craft with non-human pilots, be they from another planet or intraterrestrials, which is what Kastrup proposes in his recent article revised by both Nolan and Vallee. His Magonia hypothesis can't account for recovered craft and NHIs.

There's much more I can say about him, but let's see if you'll at least read this.
