This is honestly such a healthy breakup scene. Much healthier than their last one at least lol.

It’s just nice to see a 2 way breakup where both parties agree they aren’t good together.

And the fact that they stay really close friends after this is really awesome.

In shows it always makes it look like you can’t have a breakup without having to hate the other person forever.

I feel like they were so perfect for each other. It was right person wrong time. Season 2 was so chaotic and they were both dealing with some serious issues to be in a relationship. You could tell they both loved each other enough to have a mutual break up like this. I really thought they would end up together in the end but they didn't and I was mad asf.

I never actually cried on any series, but this made me cry my eyes out. I was actually depressed for a week about it, and even thinking of the last seasons made me feel so bad. I love this show so badly but it feels so damn bad.

like fr the writers didn’t need to make korra + mako toxic, they could’ve had a really powerful and healthy relationship, but nah they had to go and write the worst love triangle of all time

This part hits close to home. Even when you know it's not working out and it's bad for the both of you, you still love each other. It's devastating to accept. I was pretty annoyed they didn't get back together tbh, but I reckon it makes it a very human thing they put in so I dig that.

I am glad Bryke learned from their mistakes and had a definitive breakup between Korra and Mako here.

Unlike what they did with Mako and Asami in Book 1 where they just sort of hinted that they broke up before Mako started dating Korra.
