Most of the stuff you mentioned are signs of breeding season symptoms not stress the digging, the color change, resting often happens in females who are bout to lay also alot of those things happen when they are ready to go in shed and the most common sign of the stress and honesty the only proven way to tell they're stressed is when they constantly close their eyes

Such an important thing to know! A little story; The other day my bearded dragon Marley was out in the living room, and one of our cats were out as well, I sometimes (very rarely) let them be in the same room when Marley is out so the cats get accustomed to her which up till now had been fine but my cat suddenly ran up to her and she got really freaked out.
Nothing happened luckily but when I tried to pick her up she for the first time ever puffed up at me with a gaping mouth and black beard. After she licked my finger she calmed down and I was able to put her back in her enclosure but she was seriously stressed (rightfully so). A funny weird little note is Marley fears one of the cats but not the other which I find quite odd. Guess she has her preferences lol. To make a long story short their emotions can be seen very clearly once you get to know them! Hope you and your family have a nice holiday 🐥

Great tips! When I first got my bearded dragon, she would only willingly eat bugs and it took some persuading to get her on salads but now she is eating a healthy varied diet. Great video!
