Today we're comparing the fundamental tone differences between a loop modded IIB (That I affectionately dub IIB+) and a Mark IIC++. Check it out- what do you hear?? I've always said that the gain on the B+ was somewhere between a IIC+ and a IIC++, and really closer to the latter. Here's a riff from my band TIGHTEN to illustrate. Enjoy!

Great vid! I think they are both great sounding amps! You somehow always get incredible tone! I personally love the 2C++. Even in it's own power section. Question, have you ever tried the TriAxes? Thoughts?

so can you still your mesa boogie mark iii red stripe to convert to c++ mod ? or do you know anyone who does this work ?
