A mate of mine has a Toyota Century, in fact the very car Mr Regular flew to NZ to test. It's not a column shift, the shifter is in the 'usual' place. His car also has the TV and DVD for rear passengers, and also has the lace curtains in the rear windows. A couple of mufflers had been deleted, but he's replaced them because he prefers the smoothness. Bloody fantastic car.

I can relate to the ex-cop car thing. When I bought my Commodore SV6 many years ago we also had an Astra with the stalks on the opposite side of the steering column. One day in the Commodore I accidentally indicated left while I was driving along the motorway and the guy in front of me pulled over to the road side. Doh!

Love it 👌👍😊 Especially the most fun segment 😁 Though I have a 6 rather than a 5 Series, it's been such a bizarre yet hilarious experience living through this era when suddenly it's ME people on the highway visibly freak out about appearing behind or approaching them.

The Century is a well deserving winner. I've known about them for a while, but after your recent review I went onto Carsales and discovered the new version is no less than a V8 hybrid. I'd be so curious what that's like compared to its V12 predecessor.

Good list! ReDriven is right, don't get the VW Polo, buy a well-maintained Suzuki Swift Sport (2016). It's a really good car for the money, albeit a little small. The latest model has a bigger boot but the 2016 version arguably looks cooler.

Great video guys, just an idea but is it possible you could include in all future car reviews at the end of the video, a small bit of footage of you with the actual owner standing next to their cars (if they agree) because your description of the Toyota Century owner has me curious if he looks like a Yakuza boss 😂

You both hated on the forester in your last two videos but seem to hold the Outback in quite high regard. Aren't these mostly the same car? Or is it because the forester is more popular than it deserves to be?

Great video! Surprised the Kia Proceed GT on the list compared to the amazing cars you've driven. The Youtube effect is real only 7 Proceed for sale on carsales. Prices have jumped to average 20K now

Haha, I had a white AU sedan back when they were a couple of years old. I pulled into a court in an industrial area one arvo and came up to a few bloke doing burnouts. Still giggle as it was like someone pressed pause on them.
