Early in my career, when I could only dream about the technologies we’re developing now, I was hesitant about working for a large corporation. That was before I came to Thermo Fisher Scientific and realized that I could have all of the support, resources and opportunity of a global organization—and still have the flexibility to craft a career that fits my life. For me, that means maintaining an active lifestyle while working on two continents, enjoying both our strong history of scientific discovery among my colleagues in Germany and the start-up mindset of our team in California.
