HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

The Anti Tank Mines are extremely effective against tanks, hulks and the factory strider, but I would still go with the Airburst Rocket because it is just too cool

I get that airburst rockets sound cool, but I suspect that a lot of the people wanting them will end up not wanting to give up their autocannons, flamethrowers, arc throwers, recoilless rifles, quasars, shield backpacks (assuming the new rockets have a backpack), etc. For me personally, it's a lot easier to sub out orbital, eagle, and turret stratagems for different options, and in that sense, I could see the mines getting a lot more use as long as they do their job well.

I'm pretty sure Joel adjusted the dials and let us win. The progress was so nuch faster the last couple days of the major order. I'm not complaining, such a long MO was a big reduction in our medal income. But people shouldn't be patting themselves on the back.

They need to fix the artificial lights around the map bc they always make it too bright and hazy so that I can’t see anything beyond the light itself

The anti tank mines are good but man, that airburst slaps. Detonates when an enemy is near and it absolutely destroys air. It can be iffy sometimes and has great spread, so its best to not use it up close.

Bro. You slept on the GL. Its high A tier against bots as the only thing it really struggles against is hulks. You need the supply pack though because it usually takes 5 nades for a tank. Its also very good against dropships as it can clear a drop completely before they can land. It mulches devastators, berserkers and striders. Try it, build a kit around it amd you wont be disappointed

If I have a complaint about the environments is that they different biomes don't affect the enemies. It would be great to play bots but they can't see you when it's foggy just like we can't see them. Or to have some sort of infrared optics you can use in poor lighting.

It just seems that bots don't loose any accuracy regardless of visibility.

Lighting... you have the same problem as my friend who plays on PC.When we play together he says he can't see anything if the place is too dark or if its too bright. Its a setting related to lighting if i recall. My ps5 doesn't have that issue he has.

I think without further info on the stratagems, it's very hard for us to make any good decision. I also don't think we can have both now. The way they've worded it makes it sound like they're expecting us to only complete one and will consider both if we are capable of completing both within a reasonable time frame within each other. By that I mean we can't smash Penta right now and then near the end get Choohe. I think then they will definitively only give us one. If its like within 3 hours of each other, then we might be able to justify "we got both at the same time [as close as you can get spanning across the globe.]"

But if the airburst rocket is a rocket that explodes after it reaches a certain distance, it's not that impressive. If it's proximity detecting, it's still got some serious limits due to not being able to thread the needle with it. Also, if it's air burst and effective against everything, then it's only adding to the stockpile of things that tickle factory striders, bile titans, hulks, tanks, and chargers because they're not going to give it heavy armor penetration. If it's more for airborne enemies, then it's even less useful as it's RNG whether or not gunships or shriekers actually are in your mission. If they are then 1 of those 2 can already be dealt with before initial contact. So there has to be a lot more explaining about what the airburst launcher can and can't do before I'm completely on board.

Anti-tank mines sound like the most useful one all around. If they're contact triggered then I'm going to be upset because that's one thing that distinguishes anti-personnel and anti-material mines. If it's just they have a bigger boom, then again, I'll be upset because that's not the only thing that makes anti-material/tank mines what they are. They either have a magnetic or heavier load pressure plate trigger so that troops don't set it off, but anything equal to or larger than a 1 ton truck will. So if they're just contact-triggered, bigger boom mines; the anti-tank mines are off the table. If they're weight/size dependent triggered and carry a more efficient boom for lumoxes and don't trigger on us, scavengers/spitters/pouncers, or then we've got something a bit more useful that can carry over onto both war fronts.

We're just flat out lacking information on how both function and that's going to bite us in the ass later as we may assume how one functions and then it turns out that it's like the Scythe or Dagger; just garbage with a lot of tinsel on it.
