Destiny: Xur Location and Exotic Armor & Weapon Recommendations for Week 87 (May 6-8)

First up, if you're watching the FFX playthrough on the other channel, today's episode will likely be delayed as I'm doing a thing with IGN and forgot that I didn't actually edit it together. It should go up today though. Check the description of that video when it is live for a question I have for all of you watching.

Not much going on with me this week, took it easy with videos and focused on streams with Battleborn and Overwatch being out. I think this might've been the most I've streamed in quite a long time.

I mentioned some Overwatch and Battleborn content, Overwatch will be some highlights of some really good plays from my beta sessions.

Battleborn content is basically gonna be teaching people how to play the game because I feel like very few people have a grasp on what to actually DO in Battleborn, how to play, how to spec characters, stuff like that. It feels like basically no one knows what they're doing. Battleborn actually got really boring for me because I've won 30/31 games (with the loss being a 1 point loss in a 4v5) and pretty much every game has been a stomp. I actually feel bad about it because the matchmaking doesn't pair my group up against other groups very often. That being said, it does make it super easy to get clips for, which is nice.

I was surprised how luke-warm reddit was to Overwatch, I thought it was gonna get universal praise and it's not, although it's the r/Games subreddit I'm speaking about and as far as I'm concerned, no one actually likes video games on that subreddit. Will be interesting to see it in its final release and stuff, see what the support is like, the population, etc, same for Battleborn. Battleborn is flying super under the radar right now it feels like.

I'll be testing the field again with non-Destiny content, but I'm not expecting it to be popular at all, which is unfortunate because I think the quality of the stuff that's going to come from me isn't going to be any less than what I've done with Destiny. According to steamcharts, Battleborn is off to a pretty slow start, at least on PC. I hope it gets more popular, because it's super fun. ISIC will be my first character guide and Mei will be my first Overwatch guide, assuming I get the clips I need.

On the Destiny side of things, shocker, nothing has happened at all. Took it easy this week because I am running out of things to say and running out of topics in general. Hopefully E3 will give us a taste of what's to come and will give us something to talk about, but on my end, I would say don't expect any revolutionary topics to discuss. I'd like to try again at designing a raid boss or raid something soon. I'm just dreading the next 3-4 months. Ugh.

Finally, Holtzmann and I will be doing a Level 1 stream of World of Warcraft some time soon. We're just going to start at level 1 and go until we pass out. There will be reminiscing about days past and so if you wanna see us go back to our roots, more info will become available soon, but assuming everything goes to plan, we'll do it on Wednesday.

Datto, they nerfed revives in general, not just quick-res exotic revives. One could argue that this change makes quick-res exotics even more clutch than they used to be. What do you think?

Of all the Exotic weapons Xur's gonna pick he chose SUROS, thank u!! That's a pretty quick return of the weapon since Xur week 74, I regretted not buying it then 'cause up until now every exotic primary engrams I've decoded never gives me this weapon..

What I found with Young Ahamkara's Spine is that it's REALLY fun in PvP. I just planted grenades in strategic places all around the map and I just got random kills popping up on my screen. It was hilarious and satisfying and I definitely recommend it for PvP.

Realized I needed to get on destiny to late to grab anything, fortunately nothing I wanted this week as I have the Suros rifle already and the Titan armor was meh compared to my current gear, here's hoping next week has better stuff, and thank you sir for letting people know what comes out every week <3

Is it still possible to get the elder cipher weapons from legacy special weapon engrams? (when xur sells it of course) I was just curious, because I think the weapons can be gotten from other sources now. I was just wondering if I should buy the special engram when xur sells it again, because I would like to try out those weapons. Also, can it be gotten from a year 2 special engram if xur sells it?
