Destiny: Xur Location and Exotic Armor & Weapon Recommendations for Week 58 (Oct 16-18)

Not his best, but he certainly brings a refreshing set of items this week. Glass Needles are a new item that allow you to reforge your exotic armor.

We deserve better from you? Datto I think everyone here will agree with me that you already do a incredible job on these videos. You need to take breaks every now and then and start getting a better sleeping pattern (during the night & not the day). Take a day or so off destiny every week or so, just check reddit & the forums for info on if there is anything you need to cover and if there isn't then just chill for the day and relax.

"deserve better from me", dattoo... just stop. You do an amazing job. Every video you put out is a great and you do not need to feel any less of a content creator just for taking a break. We all need them, it's fine. You could make it up though by making a vid on how attack values effect damage in pvp/pve :) I have never tested it but was curious about how 2 of the exact same weapon but with different attack values performed.

decreased melee attack cooldown time I think is the cooldown for your throwing knife/blink strike/smoke bomb.
increased melee attack speed is that you can start the melee animation/attack faster than normal.
could be wrong though.

No Back Up Plans with full strength and recharging barrier was one of my favorite year one builds so I am super happy to see these come back even better than last year. Punch something like a thrall, don't run out of overshield until your melee is recharged anyway so as long as there are low tier enemies nearby you can really tank quite a lot of damage. The shotgun buff is perfect cos for a melee heavy build you want some close range ability, you can constantly take extra damage with these. I got some to drop at 310 with max strength and I couldn't have been happier.

Anyone else kinda struggling to find an Exotic worth actually using over Raid Gear? im basically stuck using my Sword and Obsidian Mind for lack of better things to use. Seems like they held back all the good items until everyone was well into the game.
