Burning Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah | Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) [8K Upscale]

As with his previous incarnations, Godzilla can release pulses of radioactive energy. He first demonstrated this in Godzilla: King of the Monsters where, after absorbing the radiation of a nuclear blast and Mothra’s life force, Godzilla starts to heat up with a fiery red glow, burning and melting objects in his vicinity while becoming completely immune to Ghidorah's gravity beams. This energy overload grants him control over tremendously powerful thermonuclear pulses that incinerates most of Ghidorah's body and a large portion of Boston with him. The shape of these particular pulses also resembles Mothra's wings while the sound of the explosions resembles Mothra's screech, for this ability is a result of Godzilla and Mothra's symbiotic bond, and can only be used in the most specific of circumstances.

I edited the scene a little, removing some irrelevant humans parts, keeping it as seamless and objective as possible, focusing only on the Kaijus.

Anyone notice that both the times Godzilla activates his nuclear pulse, the Japanese Mothra screech sounds?

For those still confused, this isn't a new power or ability.

Imagine a nuclear bomb that's being rebuilt at the same time it detonates, that's Godzilla.

Without mothras energy he would have vaporised himself before he could eject the excess energy as a pulse.

Gotta love the way Ghidorah's wings realistically get burned off first, meaning he has no way to escape. Such an epic moment.

Love how you see Ghidorah's genuine fear, trying to back away from Godzilla, frantically firing the gravity beams. Almost every time to that point, Ghidorah charged them up as if to mock his prey, saying without words "it was fun playing with you, it's a shame I must dispose of you now."

Here it's more of an instant, almost acting out of sheer fear and instinct, facing death itself and still trying to hopelessly fight, cause that's all Ghidorah knew.

The fact that Goji tanked Ghidorahs gravity beam like it was nothing just shows you how powerful he was at this point, he was literally in god form.

I like how he steps on Ghidora the same way as he stepped on Kong. Difference being...Ghidora needs to die...King Kong did not. And Godzilla knew that. Hell, in the last part of their fight, Godzilla didn't use any weapons or special powers AT ALL. Just overwhelmed Kong with pure physicality. That's how you know Godzilla is really the strongest. When he beat Kong...it was purely with "hand to hand" (claw to paw lol?) so to speak. But Kong has a role to play in the natural order of things so, he deserves to live. Ghidora was an unnatural aberration..

I love how the scene Ghidorah's head appears after the Thermonuclear Explosion, It plays Ghidorah's theme making us think Ghidorah won and survived, but then it transitions to a more heroic theme to full Godzilla Theme after Godzilla pops up.

I also love the chanting during the end, sounds like Humans were already worshipping Godzilla long before the events of the movie.
