none of this worked for me. i have to resign. i cant play elden ring anymore. just keep getting white screen and takes me back to steam and says elden ring will not respond. i just dont understand how i can play flawlessly for 45 hours then an update completely breaks my game. im speechless honestly.

non of that worked for me but i did fix it by going to properties then General then unticking "Enable the steam Overlay while in-game & Use Desktop game theatre while steamVR is active" hope this works for some of you.

i tried all of these already and it doesnt seem to be working i called a computer repair shop and they said that they would charge me between $50 and $140 to fix....
I click play on steam and it starts running for 3 secconds and nothing happens can anyone help me out?

Hello I have an issue with both AC6 and Elden Ring where after I start these games on steam EAC shows up than closes and the games do not open but if I stream my screan on Discord they start up normally HOW IS THIS possible?

Ever since the DLC came out, which I have not purchased yet, the game just does not respond when I try to launch it. I have tried all these methods, even deleted elden ring and the folder in steamapps and done a fresh install and still the problem persists. It launches, goes to a white screen, then a black screen and that's it, never goes past there. Then If I click on the screen it says Elden Ring is not responding.

I had the same problem and none of this worked. My solution playing on steam was add the "Run as administrator" in the properties of app "start with protected game" in local files. Also i have added the eldenring.exe to whitelist in my antivirus settings. Hope this will work for u.

I press the continue button and load to the exact same bar every time and it freezes and crashes

none of this worked for me. elden ring was launching yesterday fine on steam and now for no reason wont do anything. i click play, it cycles for a few seconds then just goes back to the play icon.
fallout new vegas would not work nether but with fallout it said i had one unintagral file and it would not do anything about it.

I just downloaded the game, but it says failed to load save data whenever I press ok the same thing pops up

elden ring has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the programand notify you if a solution is available

i amd having this problem the game worked fine before but my harddrive got faulty and after replacing and installimg its showing this error

I didn't finish watching the video, but after scanning through the comments, the problem is Epic Games Launcher. My AMD Radeon Software works a lot better now too. I had those white screens at launch too btw

mine loads but shuts down on the easy anti cheat screen, I cant find a way to fix it anywhere.
