Came back after making my first squared hole, to say thanks for the idea of using a squared file... The best one from internet... THanks
Btw... I did not use a press to push down the file, but doing a litle X on the round hole with a small cutting disc on a dremel, and the hammer gently hammering down the squared file... Worked perfect!

Have done square holes by drilling a little oversize and actually filing square with a square file. Had 3 type 262 VW’s ‘64, ‘65’ and a ‘66 with the big back window. They could carry a ton over rough trails. Miss them!

I’m trying to put a 3/8 inch drive whole in my stubby wrenches to move the work 3inches a way like a starter bolt under a manifold then get a long extension on it and turn it with a ratchet up top. Basically an extended closed ended crows foot. I can buy them for $60 a piece or turn a whole cheap wrench set into them and always be able to have them
