I get tons of questions about my counter top and thought I would do a 5 year review to show you guys how it looks after so long. And I have to tell you I could not be happier. It is holding up well. Maybe in a few years I will sand it down a bit for a refinish. Thanks for watching. $100 IN MATERIAL.

Hey, I am doing this now and going step-by-step following your original vid. Except I just glued three 8' x 11.5 " x 3/4 " boards together, then the two short ones to make the "L", without the clever drilling that you did. Today I finish sanding prior to the polyurethane application. I hope this works out but if not I still learned a lot. Thank you so, so much for your detailed vid and then the two retrospective vid follow-ups!

Love the pine countertops, I have my own sawmill and plenty of pine slabs. Think I will give it a try.
