Largest Tower Cranes as of 2024

China has some monster tower cranes which I think might end up being the largest ever built. The larger regular construction tower cranes can hoist 88,000 or 110,000 lbs. Maybe they reach out to 80 meters or 267' and have a capacity of 12,790 lbs like a Liebherr 630. The Zoomlion giant is hitting 283 metric tons at 230' or 624,000 lbs, or 48 times the more common large cranes that we would see as "pedestrian".

It's worth a look to see these things. I suspect that in ten years one or two might have found a home, and the others will just be idle waiting for the right opportunity in some yard.
