“The Lord’s math is simple, uno por uno (one by one). What initially appears to be incredibly inefficient I think is the ultimate in the Lord’s efficiency,” said Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as he spoke in Lima, Peru on August 26, 2024.
He was referring to the way Jesus Christ taught and ministered - one person at a time.
Those remarks came at the 6th annual Seminario Sudamericano conference where around 50 distinguished young Latter-day Saint academics and professionals from 10 countries across South America gathered in Lima.
