How to Enable Game 'HDR' on a Samsung Smart TV

I show you how to turn on or enable game HDR on the Samsung smart TV. Note my HDR option was greyed out because i don't have any gaming console (ps4, ps5, xbox, etc) plugged/connected into the HDMI port of the TV. Hope this helps.

These are supposed to be smart devices. Shouldn't they be smart enough to know the best output and automatically set everything up to work? I swear nothing I have works despite all of my devices being new and supporting these formats.

As soon as game mode turns on it actually shuts off VRR and HDR and there's no way to turn it back on from what I can tell.

You have to turn on game mode! and and then you’ll be able use the HDR on ps5, It worked for me!

Hello i think they changed to HGIG cuz where HDR is normally there it says HGIG is this something i need to worry abt or is it the same thing as HDR?

I call bullshit, that option is ALWAYS greyed out. the problem I appear to be having is that the tv thinks freesync is always on even when it knows it isn't

Ughhh not helpful for me for some reason my tv isn’t showing any HD setting or 4K even tho I know that the tv has that. I accidentally disabled it with an assortment of setting changes and now I can’t get it back. My Xbox doesn’t even recognize that my tv is 4K HDR capable. What do I do!???
