I'd never even seen a Dave Chappelle skit until yesterday, when youtube started recommending clips of his routines to me, probably because I watched one of your videos talking about him.
What was the first thing it recommends? Chappelle talking about his trans friend and how he invited her to open a show for him and she bombed on the stage, but brought the crowd around by bouncing off of him during the show. And then, he goes into talking about how she stood up for him during the attempts to cancel him on Twitter and they harassed her so bad she killed herself.
That moment probably did more for the trans community than any of their attempts to cancel anyone, because that routine makes you see this person as a real human being, gets you invested in her story and then it hits you hard with what the loss of her life meant. It puts a trans person in very human terms and it makes you care.
I didn't need another reason to think the cancel culture people were full of shit after what they did to Lindsay Ellis, but that right there gave me another one anyway.

Agreed, SNL sucks bad. When they hit thier last anniversary, they should have just ended it with grace then. It's like watching an animal in pain dying but the owners don't want to let the pet go and just put the poor thing down.

I am Lesbian and part of LGBT community Dave Chappelle not homophobic and transphobic. My favorite comedian is Bill Burr. LGBT people we can take joke laughing at it. Proun are she her or he him because only 2 genders female and male.
