The sister of Thailand's King has announced she is running for Prime Minister of the country.
If she wins, Princess Ubolratana will be the first prime minister from the royal family since the country became a constitutional monarchy in 1932. Her primary opponent will be Prayuth Chan-ocha, who seized power in a military coup in 2014. The election will be held on March 24th. The leader of Thai Raksa Chart party, spoke warmly about the party's candidate - saying the Princess will be the hope of Thailand.
