Extremely helpful and a wonderful edit. Would like to see and learn more editing such as this only with portraits and have the image jump off the screen as above. Use LRc and Luminar Neo and a little Photo Shop. Very little. Thank you for all the knowledge and help you have extended to us,

Very useful tutorial Chris, thank you. I've not long switched from GIMP to Affinity and I'm still finding my way around that so it might take a while to find some of the equivalent tools that you use here, but that's half the fun of learning something new, right?!

You said with this image you intentionally exposed for the sky so you didn't lose the detail in it, so I'm assuming lifting shadows gets better results than trying to turn down a blown out sky. Is that right? Or are their times you would sacrifice the sky in order to correctly expose for the foreground?

Hi Chris, great video. I’m using Darktable, can you advise the best modules to use to achieve similar results? Thanks
