I'll give insight to these chain saws since not much in this video
Black max saws are identical to royobi just different stickers.
They are assembled by black and decker with Honda engines that didn't meet honda quality control, so Honda sells these engines to other companies like black and deck, royobi.
The black max saws regularly go on sale so wait for sales, and still have 3yr warranty. The 20" 50cc on sale goes for $130, regular $220 and is the only saw you should focus on getting. The other 16" & 18" 38cc is too under powered to last long. If you want a smaller bar and chain just get that separately still getting the 20" 50cc

The main problem with them is a very stiff emergency hand break spring that causes the chain to bog then kill engine even when not under load. You might have to shorten /cut the spring to loosen up the brake.
And the carburetor can cause problems bogging down the engine. But that happens to a lot of saws with a carburetor and you can port the saw, lots of videos how to do that.
As a whole I'd take black max over other budget saws . I got my 20"50cc on a return sale from Walmart for only $75, because of the hand brake problem. I cut the spring then ported the saw and it is a beast.

i just got one of these babies and it works very well. not sure how much oil is getting to the chain? so i also squirt extra oil on the chain for now. 😎 thanks a lot.
did the doggie have longer legs before the chainsaw?

He’s got to learn it’s smoking because the muffler is got a converter built in muffler it gets very hot hopefully after a lot more use it will finally quit if you get in a dark place you can see it glowing red that’s how hot it gets .Good luck with the new saw take care.

I got 16 found out it can do 14 to 20 inch's just swap bar and chains I do it used all depending. On project
