It’s sad how this has actually happened in history countless of times. 😔

Mozarts sister was actually a brilliant composer, Mozart even said she was better than him, but she was forced to give up after it became "unladylike" none of her compositions survived.

“She’s my wife; I practically did this for her!”
Her having been neglected, abused, criticized, and hated because she worked for who she is today.

How many einsteins have spent their lives washing dishes? How many mozarts have bent over stoves instead of pianos simply because they had the misfortune of being born a woman?

The ONLY REASON Marie Curie was recognized for her accomplishments was because her husband was hit by a carriage so she was the only person left alive with all the information, meaning that the scientists had to listen to her and not any one else (the two worked together before his death so they’d just listen to the husband) if they wanted to hear of the new discoveries

Women are humans, not just cooks,
Why do we judge them on how they walk or look.
Women are humans, give them a chance at joy,
All the talent, isn't just in the boys.
Women are humans, let them leave their homes,
They can do more than household chores.
Women are humans, they have ideas and they do have choices,
So for once, can we please hear their voices?

Mileva Marić was an exceptional woman, who was able to study physics in Zürich as one of the first women ever. She was pretty smart even helping her fellow students. Though she liked one of her classmates, became pregnant and had to stop her education to care for the child (as far as I'm aware that child had some mental health issues). Her husband divorced her and won a nobel prize. It's said that she helped him with his research, though never proved.
Nowadays this woman is sadly only known as "Einsteins wife"

OMG is it about that Polish woman, who went to France bc she couldn't get education she needed in her country bc she was a woman?

In the end she with her husband discovered radiation and most of the chemical elements emitting it.

The Nobel Prize was given only to her husband, but she continued to study radiation until her death. She even died of diseases caused by it.

I can't remember her name😢 i only know that her first name was Maria or something like that... But she was a true hero!❤

*artists POV*
and there i stood. my paintings were finally being recognized at the most famous, lavish art gallery in the world. I was there, my husband aswell.. Millions of people around the world came here to Hungary, thrilled just to see the gallery‘s paintings. it was everything i have ever wanted… I should be exctatic, overjoyed.. but i wasnt. the only thing i felt was anger, rage and the need for revenge. because i wasnt the one being prized, the one getting the fame, praise and love for my own artworks..

i look to my right, my husband standing next to my painting which took me months to finish to perfection. People were cheering for him, and all i could do was plaster a fake smile on my face, act like im proud of him. but i wouldnever forgive him. deep down, i felt anger rise up until i had to bite my inner cheek, just so i dont pounce on him and tear that proud smirk off of his face.

, ,Lorraine!‘‘ i hear a male voice, getting me out of my thoughts. i snap my head towards the voice. it was my husband, i didnt even notice he was talking to me., ,are you okay dear?‘‘ he says in a soft tone. i gritted my teeth, knowing damn well he didnt care at all. I mean, what husband acts like he supports you, then threatens you to say that he was the artist behind it, while you get no credit at all?! i take a deep breath, shoving aside any thoughts that had something to do with murdering him, i put a soft smile on my face and answer in a forced calm tone, ,yea, im fine. i just zoned out a bit‘‘ He nods at my answer and turns back to the crowd. one of the men came up and handed Him the prize. he then steps forward, towards the microphone..

*Husbands POV*
this is the moment. the moment ive been waiting for my whole life. i knew marrying her was a good idea. now i have a huge prize, tons of love and fame, and the life everyone would only dream of. this girl really put up a fight back when i told her to make me get the credit instead of her. a little bit of a threat never hurts anyone, you know?

Now here i am, infront of, ,my‘‘ paintings, getting the prize, while that girl has to stand in the back. I knew there was nothing she could do, and i was more than pleased at that thought. i never liked her anyways. I step into the light, infront of me the microphone. i will probably hold one of the most important speeches of my life..

, ,hello, and thank you everyone for coming here in this fine night. let me start off by saying, i never wouldve expected so many people to come here. well, looks like theres a first time for everything, even for such big speeches‘‘ I earned a small chuckling here and there from the crowd., ,now, lets get to the people i want to thank.. I want to thank my parents, who supported me through my highs and lows, and are hopefully very proud of me. i‘ll see you in heaven, momma and papa..‘‘ my smile turns more soft, and the crowd has some, ,aww‘‘ here and there. i continue on with thanking other relatives and friends for the next 1 minute. and now the finale..

, ,And thank you Lorraine.‘‘ *i turn back to my wife, she looks up startled, and i knew she wanted to tear me apart, judging by that look, but i didnt care, ,thank you, for being here and supporting my artistic journey throughout the years, darling. you should know how much i love you. and i hope we‘ll be able to experience other art galleries of mine in the future. together..‘‘ i knew i hit a nerve. i never wanted to support her with this artistic career, but when i heard that some famous people wamted her paintings for the most famous art gallery internationally, i knew my time has come. now i smiled at how her irritation and glare showed through the fake smile plastered on her face. and i enjoyed every bit.

i turn back to the crowd., ,thank you for listening to my speech, i will be-‚‘‘

, ,He isnt the artist!‘‘

*artists POV*

a female voice erupted from the crowd, everyone snapped their head towards the sound. i snap out of my thoughts where i wanted to murder my so called husband in 80 000 ways. But now i was trying to locate the female voice and where it came from. i step next to my husband, glancing at him. im shocked to see his face paling, mouth agape. i look at where the crowd now was staring. i gasp in shock, then i start smiling at who it was..

YAY I DID THE CLIFFHANGER ONG YIPEE
maybe i‘ll finish this at 20 likes, but give me time, cuz i have school and a heck ton of hobbies, PLS BE PATIENT TILL THEN
i will be continuing this for sure though, AS THE JOURNEY CONTINUES- (yes pokémon reference bbs)

“Here's our exceptionally great physicist, ” she looked up at the podium with a proud smile resting on her face, ” George Vergence, ”

A frown of confusion itched on her forehead, and within a split second her eyes widened.

‘You live in a cursed society, Claire, a terribly cursed one, ’ tears ran down her cheeks as she smiled to herself.

Unhappily she turned away as cheers and applauses rang outside.

“Claire, where are you going?” her sister in law came to her with a smile still trying to catch a few glimpses of her brother outside.

“Home, ” whispering she started walking away as the girl questioned again, “You're not saying few words abou-"

“About what? That he made those discoveries? Accept that I gave up my work to that reckless drunkard who abused me until I surprised him with my inventions?” Claire spoke in the lowest audible voice which yet didn't fail to display her annoyance.

“Oh Georgia, your brother is nothing but a pain in the neck, ” she ran to the stage as she caught quite enough words of her dearest husband, who was busy taking all the credit on his shoulders.

‘Do it Claire, ’ her mother's words rang in the back of her head, ‘Show the world what's your worth, ’.

“I'm delighted-”

“To announce, I apologise, that this invention, was made by me. We had a little confusion down there with the judges and the ended up thinking he was the one, ” Claire pushed him off *unintentionally* as he falls of with a hilarious thud, encouraging an awkward laugh to escape her throat.

Silence.

Silence came upon the audience as she looked at each face.

‘Oopsie, it would have been better if the drunkard took it upon himself, ’ her intellect whispered causing her to close her eyes with a sigh.

Just as a sob was about to exit her lips, she felt a deafening wave of claps and kudos convincing her to open her eyes.

“That's the beauty of women kind. They never fail in anything, ” announced the host, patting Claire's back lightly when suddenly she sank to her knees.

Cries rang on the stage with applauses everywhere else.

This happened in Australia where I’m from, the layout of Canberra (capital city) was designed by a husband and wife, I forgot there names, but the wife did most of the design and had to give all the credit to the husband, the only reason Canberra looks how it looks naw is because of a woman.

Did you know when the women were just getting into the workplace, they’d be the ones doing all the maths in the astronomy field- so the men were the astronomers and the women were astrophysicist? No related but pretty cool

She glared at him. Her eyes filled with rage. “No one will believe you anyways” he had taunted holding her life’s work in his hands. She had been tempted to divorce him, but no, everyone would question and question and that would simply bring sorrow. The cruelest bit of all was that she had to stand by the vile man’s side, smiling as the press questioned him excitedly, trying to hold even a moment of his attention. She bit her lip feeling her hatred boiling up inside her. She had worked for years on this perfect formula, and it was all snatched out of her, by the very first person she had revealed it to. She curled her lip in rage as she remembered how excited she had felt when she first revealed it to him. Bouncing up and down as his smile widened. Later she would find out it was from greed, not happiness that he had seemed so elated. He had pestered her for days, wanting to know everything, and she, being the naïve woman she was, had told him. And now he had enough information to claim her work as her own. “You’ll still get some credit, as my adoring wife” he had said with a spiteful smirk on his face. And now he was here with that same smile, waving to the press as though he owned the world. Oh how she wished she could cut his head off right there and then… if only…(PART 2?)
